HOW ISHU BANSAL’S HELPED TRUCKING INDUSTRY
The trucking industry has various unique challenges. The most common one is to manage return truck loads from a trucker’s point of view and transparency and TAT in logistics supply chain management from an industrial point of view.
Trucking Industry is one of the most challenging industries in India. It is one of the biggest yet most unorganised industries. We had a chance to spend some time with Ishu Bansal- co-founder of TruckSuvidha. He helped many clients with common challenges in the Trucking Industry. Added below is that Interview.

I head the technical arm of TruckSuvidha. My role revolves around the creation of digital infrastructure for the logistics industry. I have a mojor in Engineering.
Client Challenge- What was the unique challenge you were presented with from the client’s end.
Your Solution –
We created a software called TruckSuvidha with the purpose, of utilizing the available resources and providing an opportunity to boost business for existing players in the logistics industry. The idea is to bring about a change in the existing scenario and streamline the process of booking a truck by bringing all the players online.
We also developed AI-based solutions for industries that help them in improving TAT for vehicle placement and reduction in freight rates.
What were some of the critical challenges you faced while working on this-
Adoption of technology is one of the key challenges. Most users come from a mindset, which restricts them from coming out of their comfort zone and adopting some new technology/product.

What was the Duration of this Project
8 months
How did your outcome influenced the process
Software enabled truckers to keep their truck running for more than 21-24 days in a month which was around 14-15 days earlier. Industries are able to save of freight rates and better vehicle availability as this is the only way to improve profit margins in an effective way.
What was the measure of success
We introduced the system to largest seed manufacturer in India and it helped them in reduction of freight rates to 18% and vehicle placement increased to 29%. Also our vast inventory helps truckers to have multiple options for their return logistics. Was there any long term success achieved as result of your consult
Yes companies who tried our products for a single location, made it mandatory for all the plants and ware houses. As it was a huge cost reduction for them.
