Truck Freight Rates stay stable in Jan
Despite the fall in diesel price by INR 2.25 per litre, truck freight rates on trunk routes remained stable during January.
Truck freight rates on Delhi-Mumbai-Delhi round trip on a 9-tonne payload truck remained unchanged at INR 60,500.
Delhi-Chennai-Delhi round-trip also reported a stable rate at INR 95,300. Sentiments among the truck fleet owners are positive for the first time after April 2012.
