Truck freight rates for Bangalore, Chennai up
Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section for Bangalore and Chennai centres moved up by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today on increased cargo movements against tight availability of trucks. Transporters said increased cargo movements against tight availability of trucks mainly led to the rise in Bangalore and Mysore freight rates. Freight rates from Delhi to Bangalore and Chennai were quoted higher by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 65,000 each.

Following are today’s freights per nine-tonne load (in Rs): Jaipur -17,500, Hyderabad-58,000, Chandigarh-18,500, Vijayawada-60,000, Ludhiana-19,500 Bangalore-65,000, Kanpur-20,000, Chennai-65,000, Indore-22,000, Mysore-67,000 Ahmedabad-24,000, Pondicherry-66,000, Baroda-27,000, Coimbatore-70,000, Patna-29,000, Kochi-72,000, Surat-27,000, Thiruvananthapuram-79,000, Mumbai-29,000, Goa-53,000, Pune-31,000, Gwalior-15,000 Kolkata-33,000, Guwahati-54,000.
