When 2020 Opened New Doors – From PSU Trust to National Impact
Entering 2020 felt different.
This was the year when the GAIL investment officially started flowing into our accounts.
For us, it was not just funding. It was a badge of trust.
A Maharatna PSU standing with TruckSuvidha meant one thing –
we now carried a responsibility bigger than ourselves.
We had strategies, product plans, and execution roadmaps.
But deep inside, we knew this was our chance to prove something bigger to the ecosystem.
We wanted to show that a logistics startup could deliver results powerful enough to inspire PSUs and government bodies to believe in innovation.
And then, something unexpected happened.
When Ministries Started Calling
Because of the credibility earned through years of hard work and the trust of GAIL, more doors started opening.
We began interacting with different ministries, departments, and government programs that were exploring technology-led transformation in logistics.
One such opportunity shaped the next big chapter of our journey.
We were invited to share our views on a simple but critical question:
How do farmers and truck drivers connect directly and efficiently?
This was more than a discussion.
It was a national challenge.
And the moment we started exploring it, we realised something powerful.
Farmers and truck drivers are two pillars of the Indian logistics and agri supply chain.
But they were operating in silos.
The gap between them created delays, inefficiencies, and financial losses for both.
A connection between the two could change everything.

The Birth of Kisan Sabha
That day planted a new seed in our minds.
What if we extended the vision of TruckSuvidha?
What if we built something that connected these two crucial communities directly?
What if farmers could get transparent access to transport, and truckers could access a wider supply of loads?
This thought became the foundation of a new initiative:
Kisan Sabha – an extension arm of TruckSuvidha.
And this chapter was guided by someone who played a big role in shaping the direction of the project.
The Support That Strengthened the Vision
We were fortunate to receive strong backing from
Dr. Farhat Azad, Principal Scientist at CSIR.
Her research, insights, and deep understanding of ground level challenges helped us refine the idea.
She guided us in understanding the real problems faced by farmers and how technology could solve them without complicating their lives.
Kisan Sabha was no longer just an idea.
It was a mission supported by scientific research, industry understanding, and national relevance.

Balancing Two Missions
On one hand
- we had the responsibility to deliver results for GAIL
- justify their trust
- and scale TruckSuvidha to the next level
On the other hand
- we had a new opportunity
- a new challenge
- and a chance to impact millions of farmers and transporters across the country
2020 became a turning point for us.
A point where business goals met national purpose.
A point where a startup transitioned from solving market problems to solving India-scale problems.
This was not just growth.
This was evolution.
