From Product to Legal Identity
With the platform slowly taking shape, Ishu and Amit found themselves at a stage every startup founder eventually reaches.
They had built a functional product. It had a name. It had users.
But then came the next big question — what’s the legal identity behind it?
It wasn’t just about naming a brand. It was about building something that could scale, partner, and stand in the market — officially.
This is a moment most startups encounter:
“Is our product also our company?”
“Should we run everything under the product’s name, or create something bigger to hold it?”
That’s when they knew — TruckSuvidha was the product. But it needed a company behind it.
Building the Product Structure
While developing the core platform, another layer of thinking had already begun.
If they had a name — was it just that? A name?
Would they need legal documents, a firm, a registration, or something more?
They realized that even though their product was taking shape, it wasn’t live yet. , they didn’t yet have a business entity .
They asked themselves questions that every startup must face:
- Do we register a company now or later?
- What type of business structure is right — proprietorship, partnership, or private limited?
- Do we treat the product and the company as the same, or separate?
The only thing clear was this: the product must run under a company. That separation was important — for clarity, for scale, and for the future.
Laying the Legal Foundation
Like many new founders, Ishu and Amit didn’t come from a legal or business background.
But they did what most smart founders do — they asked for help.
With the guidance of a family then they decided to hire legal experts like CA, .they explored the basics. And instead of waiting or overthinking it, they chose the simplest workable format — a partnership firm. It was fast, easy, and perfect for their stage.
This is a real-world lesson:
You don’t need to start with a Pvt Ltd.
Start with what works. What’s easy to set up, legally valid, and helps you move forward.

A Name with Purpose
As the paperwork moved forward, they faced another key startup question:
Should the company name be the same as the product? Or different?
TruckSuvidha was clear and powerful as a product. But they didn’t want the company name to limit future ideas.
So they brainstormed. Drafted names. Rejected many.
And finally, they found a name that matched their mission — Sarvodaya, which means upliftment of all.
They called the company Sarvodaya Ventures.
And just like that, the structure was complete:
- Product: TruckSuvidha
- Company: Sarvodaya Ventures
This is something every founder should consider:
Your product name and company name don’t have to be the same.
They can serve different purposes. One can grow into many.
What Comes Next
So TruckSuvidha had a name, a platform, and now, a legal base.
But for Ishu and Amit, this was just the beginning.
They had answered some of the toughest early-stage startup questions —
What are we building? Who are we legally? How do we want to be seen?
The next step would bring more clarity, more structure, and more challenges.
And that’s a journey every startup founder will want to follow.
