VE Commercial Vehicles sells 5,068 units in Dec 2015, up 44.3%

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) has sold 5068 units in December 2015 (YTD 47497) as compared to 3512 units in December 2014 (LYTD 40783) recording a growth of 44.3% (YTD Growth of 16.5%).  This includes 4951 units of Eicher brand and 117 units of Volvo
brand.

On the Exports front, Eicher Trucks and Buses have recorded sales of 837 units in December 2015 (YTD 5859) as compared to 385 units (LYTD 5824) ) in December 2014, representing a growth of 117.4% (YTD Growth of 0.6%).

VE Commercial Vehicles

The following are the key highlights for December 2015 :

• Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded total sales of 4951 units in December 2015 (YTD 46275) as compared to 3398 units in December 2014(LYTD 39892), representing a growth of 45.7% (YTD Growth of 16%).
• In the domestic CV market ( 5T and Above), Eicher Trucks and Buses  have recorded sales of 4114 units in December 2015 (YTD 40416) as compared to 3013 units (LYTD 34068) in December 2014, representing a growth of 36.5% (YTD Growth of 18.6%).
• On the Exports front Eicher Trucks and Buses have recorded sales of 837 units in December 2015 (YTD 5859) as compared to 385 units (LYTD 5824) ) in December 2014, representing a growth of 117.4% (YTD Growth of 0.6%).
• Volvo trucks have recorded sales of 117 units in December 2015(YTD 1222) as compared to 114 units (LYTD 891) in December 2014, representing a growth of 2.6% (YTD growth of 37.1%)
