Slowly Finding Stability Again

As we moved ahead, things slowly started returning to normal.

The team was recovering. People were regaining confidence. Work routines were stabilising again. After everything the world had gone through during COVID, even small signs of normalcy felt like big progress.

By the time we entered 2022, the environment around us had started improving. Markets were opening up, supply chains were stabilising, and businesses across industries were trying to regain momentum.

At the same time, one important conversation was gaining speed at the national level.

The National Logistics Policy (NLP) was being drafted rapidly. For years, India had spoken about improving logistics efficiency, but the country did not have a comprehensive policy framework that could bring all stakeholders together. The pandemic had clearly shown how critical the logistics sector was. From essential goods to oxygen supplies, the entire country had witnessed how the backbone of the economy depended heavily on logistics networks and the trucking community.

Truckers, transporters, warehouses, supply chains, and freight movement had suddenly moved from the background to the center of national discussions.

Because of what the country experienced during COVID, the urgency around creating a structured logistics framework had increased significantly.

Discussions around the National Logistics Policy were now moving much faster than before.

For people like us who had been working closely with the trucking and logistics ecosystem for years, this was an encouraging development. It meant that the challenges faced on the ground were finally getting attention at the policy level.

However, on our side, things were still moving slowly.

The ecosystem was recovering, but it was not a sudden bounce back. Businesses were cautious. Companies were evaluating new initiatives carefully. Investments, partnerships, and new logistics experiments were happening gradually rather than aggressively.

After the team outing in August and the period of emotional rebuilding, this phase was more about steady movement rather than dramatic milestones.

There were no major announcements to share. No large breakthroughs. No dramatic pivots.

Just steady work.

Sometimes startup journeys are full of big moments. And sometimes they are about quiet persistence. This was one of those phases where progress was happening slowly but consistently.

Teams were rebuilding their rhythm. Markets were regaining confidence. And the logistics ecosystem was preparing itself for a more structured future with the upcoming National Logistics Policy.

Looking back, this phase might appear uneventful on the surface. But in reality, it was an important bridge between survival and growth.

And as we moved closer to mid-2022, the industry was preparing for the next big shift.
