Freight rates for southern destinations decline
Truck freight rates for ten-tonne pay load section for southern destinations declined by INR 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following easy availability of trucks against restricted cargo movements.
Besides excess trucks position in the markets, tight cargo movements put pressure on freight rates for select destinations, said Transporters.
Delhi to Mysore and Coimbatore rates dropped by INR 1,000 each to INR 70,000 and INR 72,000.
Rates to Kochi and Pondicherry also went down by INR 1,000 each to INR 75,000 and INR 69,000.
